Two Planet Life - A new research institute

Two Planet Life does research, development, affiliation, and advocacy.

Its purpose is to cultivate two-planet life.

In its first years, Two Planet Life will focus on enabling the construction of a science station on Mars. It has a plan to do this, the Ironberry Plan. However, cultivating two-planet life is broader in scope than enabling the construction of the first Martian science station. In brief, Two Planet Life looks to life in the past, present, and future. For the past and present, the institute is interested in the origin and evolution of life on Earth and searches for life on Mars, in the rest of the solar system, and beyond to the exoplanets of the Milky Way galaxy. The institute also forms Mars-related narratives that influence how we and our descendants act in the future. Two Planet Life's complete statement of purpose provides greater depth.

Two Planet Life was incorporated in the winter of 2022/2023. Although its founder, Rif Miles Olsen, worked toward this for some years prior. It held its first board meeting on March 6th, 2023, with three directors: Dr. Brent Calhoun, Rif Miles Olsen, and Joanna Derry Pearl.
